She is also a Member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).

Concetta advises and litigates on behalf of national and international companies with respect to Dutch labour and pension law issues, including:

Experience

Concetta completed her degree in Dutch Law at the University of Utrecht. Concetta started working as an attorney in 2004. Since 2005 she is specialized in employment law. Before working for Doorn en Keizer, she previously worked for the law firms de Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, VMW Taxand, Benvalor and Van Benthem & Keulen.

During 2016-2018 she was a teacher at the University of Utrecht: she lectured at the law faculty the subjects Dutch Employment Law, European Law (in English) and International & European Labour Law (in English), Capita Transfer of Undertakings and Platform Work. In 2018 she became an attorney again.

In June 2011 she passed (cum laude) the specialization course Grotius Employment Law. In November 2020 she passed (cum laude) the master of Dutch Pension Law (Leergang pensioenrecht) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Since then she is a Certified Pension Lawyer (CPL).

She is also a Member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).

Other activities and Publications

Concetta also regularly gives presentations, in-house training and speaks at seminars about employment and pension law related items. She also lectures and publishes on a frequent basis.

Registration

Concetta Allegra has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): employment law.

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
